Time flies! ......

Time flies when your having fun! It has been a long time since I last updated my blog! Yesterday, we had to order Karlee's graduation announcements! Can you believe it??? Karlee will be graduating in May! Time sure does fly....even when you don't want it to! I am so proud of Karlee and the woman she is becoming daily in Christ! God has given her a beautiful heart and I pray that she will continue to use her talents and abilities to glorify Him throughout her life! We are now trying to decide on a college she will attend...she has applied to several. I am looking forward to seeing what all God has in store for our first born. It is hard to believe that we are approaching a whole new chapter in her life! I am so thankful to be her mom!

Our day with Go 10

This weekend we have been so blessed that Joe is home at night because the Go10 Walk that he is project coordinator for is in Nashville! He has been gone since Easter weekend! The girls & I decided to join him on the walk on Saturday. Karlee, Kassidy and I walked 10 miles through Nashville, while Klaire helped him run support for all of the walkers. My brother, Craig and niece, Maddi Kate also helped Joe & Klaire with support!
It was a very HOT but awesome day walking for missions! So honored that I could be a part of something so much bigger than me or my family! God is really blessing the walk and am so blessed to have been just a little part of it along with my family!

Karlee & Kassidy signing the scroll before walking 10 miles for missions!

Maddi Kate & Klaire waiting to help!

Klaire & Maddi handing out gatorade to all of us walkers!

It is amazing at what all God is doing during this walk to help with missions and our missionaries. You can see what all is happening in the past few months on the website....www.go10walk.com
It has been difficult having Joe away from me and the girls for the past 2 1/2 months and we still have 1 1/2 months to go...but I know it is just a little part of God's big plan for us and for His message to be spread to the regions beyond!
I thank God for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible journey!

One blessing after another....

"From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another." John 1:16

To start off my weekend...I had these beautiful flowers brought to me from Joe's office! They are just beautiful and made my day! They also sent gifts to all 3 girls! Thanks to the wonderful staff that work for International Missions! You all are wonderful!!!! :)

My handsome husband came home for the weekend! I am so proud of what he is doing with the Go10 project and how God is using him, Bill & Jim to accomplish such a great task to help further the gospel to the regions beyond! I am so thankful for such a godly husband of 20 years! I love you, Joe!

My mom came to visit this weekend too! I love my mom so much! It is always a highlight when she comes to visit! She came to see Karlee in the spring musical that she had at school- "Singing in the Rain." Craig & Tara and the kids also came to see Karlee perform! It was an awesome night to share with the whole family! I just love my family!

Today was awards day! Kassidy was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and also got an award for all year honor roll! I am so proud of her and the young lady she is becoming on the inside and out! Great job, Kass! I love you!

Awards day take 2! Karlee was inducted into the National Honor Society today as well! She also took home the award for all year honor roll and the President's award for academic excellence! So proud of you, Karlee! I love you!

Needless to say....I am one blessed person! So many times I take too many things for granted and don't stop to thank the Lord for all the things He has done for me! So here are a few of my blessings from this past week....what are your blessings??

What does a girl do when her high heels break???

First she examines the other shoe to see the damage done....

Then she cries and pouts for a long time.....

And finally....she tells her mommy that if she puts this on the "compooter" she will be so mad!

Her mommy thinks that one day she will look back at this and laugh....at least her mommy hopes so!

Where does the time go???

I can not believe my little girl is all grown up and went to the Jr/Sr Banquet last night! Where does the time go??? Last time I looked she was the little girl in the dress up trunk finding the perfect dress to wear. Then she would dance around wanting Joe and I to dance with her.

Joe and I are so proud of Karlee and the beautiful young woman she is- inside and out!

Klaire was a little jealous....so she had to dress up too! It wasn't fair that big sis gets to go to "prom" and she doesn't! What you don't see in most of the pics is Klaire crying because she is not getting her picture taken as much as Karlee....oh my...we have a diva on our hands!

Karlee & Kassidy- sisters & friends! (well....sometimes!) So proud of my girls!

Cool chicks! I prayed and prayed that God would give Karlee good friends at her new school since we moved before her junior year of high school....and this is proof that God answered my prayers!!!

The crew before the banquet....these pics were being taken by a huge mob of parents! :)

Karlee & Aaron- what is hard to believe is that his parents were at the hospital when Karlee was born! Never knew that one day they would be dating!

Who knows where Karlee gets these poses?! ;) I just love her fun personality!!

One last pose before we send them off to have fun! We did see them a short time later...since we were chaparones at the "after banquet party! "

Joe had the last words though...he wanted to make sure that Aaron knew who he would answer to if anything went wrong tonight! (Karlee looks real scared! LOL!)
